Today’s scripture verse:

Luke 13: 34-35

Jesus’s Lamentation over Jerusalem

“Jerusalem, Jerusalem, who kills the prophets and stones those who are sent to her. How often I wanted to gather your children together, as a hen gathers her chicks under her wings, but you were not willing! See, your house is abandoned to you. I tell you, you will not see me until the time comes when you say,’ Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord’!”

I will bless the Lord at all times.  Will you magnify the Lord with me? Let us exalt His name together.  I sought the Lord, and He heard me, and delivered me from all my fears.  When they looked to Him they were radiant.  Our faces were not ashamed.  A poor man cried out, and the Lord heard him, and saved him out of all his troubles.  I pray the angel of the Lord encamp all around us, those who fear Him, for He will deliver them.  Will you come taste and see that the Lord is good?  Blessed are those that trusts in Him.  Saints, come, fear the Lord there is no wants for those who trust Him.  The young lions may lack and suffer hunger, but those who seek the Lord shall not lack any good thing.  These words are extracted from Psalms 34, and they mean more than I can tell, but just let me say, when this short life is over, and my spirit goes to its final resting place, and my Lord will be with me always.  He says, “That His eyes are on the righteous, and His ears are open to their cries.”  He is against those who do evil, and will cut off their remembrance from the earth.  The day is coming, yes it is even sooner than most think, and the Lord will deliver not only me, but all who trust in Him.  The evil will slay the wicked, and all those who hate righteousness will be condemned for eternity.  Yes!  The Lord redeems, and all those who trust in Him will not be condemned.  Though now, in this place my afflictions are many, I know, in faith, that the Lord will deliver me, evilness and wickedness will be destroyed, but I shall stand and be with Jesus forever more.  Trust in Jesus Christ, and be saved.
