Today’s scripture verse:

John 15: 9-11. “As the Father has loved me, I have also loved you. Remain in my love. If you keep my commands you will remain in my love, just as I have kept my Father’s commands and remain in his love.  “I have told you these things so that my joy may be in you and your joy may be complete.

Though sickness be all around me, I will fear no evil.  I place my condition and circumstance on the solid rock.  No one ever loved me like Jesus, even though I am less than desirable to most, yet Jesus loves me so.  God does not see me in my own condition, but sees me wrapped in the righteousness of the Lord Jesus.  I think to myself, God how will I ever, repay “You for my salvation?”  He assures me in His Holy Word, that I can’t now, nor will I ever be able to.  He tells me this is His gift to me and the world because He loves us all so much.  No greater love hath any man that he that would lay down his life for a friend.  Jesus is more than my savior and redeemer to me, yes, He is my closest friend.  He will not forsake me, or leave me to dredge through life on my own.  He is closer than a brother, more caring than a mother and His love is never short of being absolutely perfect towards all of us.  The price for my salvation is a gift from God to me, all I have to do is accept it in faith, believing in the Lord Jesus Christ and the work He accomplished on the cross.  I will Lord. “Trust and obey.”
