Today’s scripture verse:

Matthew 18:3,

“Then Jesus called a little child to Him, set him in the midst of them, and said, “Assuredly, I say to you, unless you are converted and become as little children, you will by no means enter the kingdom of heaven.”

When I read the above scriptures I can see the truth of the child like faith.  A child is innocent and completely dependent on the parent.  Their minds are innocent, not knowing yet the evilness of this place we live.  They will follow the parent, and they want to be loved and cherished.  We must forget earthly problems as Christians and lean on God and He will lead, and guide, and care for us, we have to be as these children, forgetting what we know, and learn of God.  This does not mean to stop existing but to place God ahead of everything we know.  We must come as children, innocent, but not because we are, but because Jesus is, and when we believe in Him and trust Him with all that we are, He will provide our needs and ensure we reach our heavenly home.

Mark 10:15, “Assuredly, I say to you, whoever does not receive the kingdom of God as a little child will by no means enter it.”
