Bible reading today: Jeremiah 14 and 15, Psalm 74: 12-23, Proverbs 23, Acts 4.
Today’s scripture verse: James 5:16. Confess your trespasses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much.
Our prayers can be effective in places where we cannot go physically. This is why prayer warriors are needed and why they are essential. True power lies not in the preacher, the church, etc. The real power source is those who know how to use the prayer closet. Prayer opens door, hinders evil, touches the sick, and convicts the sinner. Prayer works. Our need is for more people to PRAY. Paul was a prayer warrior. He believed in the power and the potential of prayer. Literally everything we do must be bathed in a sea of prayer. God loves to hear from all His children through prayer. “Finally, brethren, pray for us, that the word of the Lord may run swiftly and be glorified, just as it is with you.” Second Thessalonians 3:1.
